it has been a fruitful week for me, meeting up with old friends and secondary friends, to do loads of catching up! oh my. now to think of it, i've met up with almost everyone who i always wanted to! ((((((((((((((((((:

lets date back to.... o8augo7. it was national day eve, and i went back to css speech day cum celebration, held at jurong complex. well, everything was the repetitive of the previous years, wonder if the school ever get sian of it. even the whole program is the same! gosh. and it always happen that this is the time frame where those nanjing people are here for some exchange program.

on a happy note, im one of those sitting infront of the stage this year! (: switched places with weikeat so that im beside zwin throughout the whole thing! hahaha missed talking to the evil one. XD we practically talked the whole way through la. poor wanqi had to sit somewhere far back beside nancy. hahaha!

was quite shocked with css syf performance this year. such a disappointment can. not like it really concern me but still? all the performing arts dropped so much! choir drama band dance dropped to either silver or gold. where were those days when we had the glory of 5 gold with honours?? sheeesh. to think i had celebrated half-day school twice during my css days, because of the outstanding syf results. i doubt they have the luxury this year man.

anyway after the whole speech day, met joycelyn at bugis with zwin wanqi for lunch. we had this seafood harvest by jack's place, student meal at $6.50+++! well, the food didnt taste that bad as the environment was, the aircon there doesnt seem to be working at all! but given that its just recently opened, guess they are short of manpower and etc, it was still alright.

then we went shopping around at bugis street. of course, i just tagged along with them and came back empty-handed. didnt want to spend so much on clothes again! okay fine, the stuff there wasnt really suitable for me as well. haha. but whatever la. the time spent is more important! (: they bought their stuff and we went to eat ice at bencoolen again! wanqi became so horny whenever milk was mention. HAHAHA. tsktsk. we took many silly photos, like xi nu ai le type and many candid shots. WANQI QUICK SEND ME!!!!!!!

i left early while they went for their hair cut at chapter 2. went back to imm to meeeeet oldfriends for pepperlunch dinner! beeeeeeen months since i last saw them, fine 2 months. didnt talked much over dinner though, went shopping around giant for my moti food. they bought many chocolates!!!!!!! so tempting can. arh!

went in and out of many shops cos they had this national day sale, hahaha we are super aunties. we went to this cookie monster kiddy ride and took pictures! hahaha happy people. (: walked back to tohguan where sijin took the bus home. the rest of us went to the playground to talk the night away. too bad i had to leave early cos of my sea expedition the next day. sorry people! will make it up the next time! (:

overall, i enjoyed my day a lot, meeting up with secondary peeps and oldfriends, reminscing the good old days. sure brings back much memories! (: took lots of photos that day but shall upload the next time.

day1
sea expedition! reported to school at 7 where we uploaded all our logistics and pooooof! on our way to saf yatch club at sembawang. loaded the kayaks and powerboats and off we went! my partner was kakei!(: well, gotta apologise and thank him for the whole thing. we were the slowest pair throughout because well, my kayaking skills wasnt there yet and my weight was a hindrance for the movement, thus we had to put in extra effort to kayak while the others can like move so swiftly. haii.

from sembawang to punggol beach for lunch point, then around the north of ubin, then we rested at frog's island where it is only visible during low tides. so lucky us had the chance to land on that island! (:

beached up at changi beach where we had our build-your-own-pit bbq dinner and pitched our tents. i was bbqing the whole way! yayyyyyyyy, love bbqing! others were going around the 'pits' to feed everyone, with the ladle. hahaha! so much for the outdoor life! (: some went for supper after that, while i drop dead in my tent. super tired.

day2
woke up in the morning, strike the tents and loaded the logistics again. only to realise that some logistics went missing. sigh. the way back was a shorter route since we didnt have to go around ubin again. weather was fine as well. the only highlight of day2 was that i get to drive the powerboat at the last part of the journey where i switched places with kat! yayyyyyyyy! sitting on the powerboat was fun, the breeze was nice!(:

returned to our starting point, washed the equipment and bathed. went back to school and unloaded the logistics. did the final washing up and packing before we sat down for debrief. laoba and mrong werent happy with the performance, esp the care for equipment and the responsibility, because most of us didnt do the sentries. sigh.

but despite so much, it was still an experience gained! good and bad. loving my odac even more!<3333333

odac went for dinner at amk central after that. didnt join them though because i went to meet tzer lx brenda jasmine and co at amk hub instead. well, they introduced their soccer friends, hy yt christina to me. hahaha they are a bunch of funny people but sorry, i wasnt really at my best that night. didnt really respond much to their jokes. haha but overall, it was really fun meeting tzer and the rest and the new people i've got to know that night! :)

it was home day for me, but still wasnt really fruitful. only packed up gp and reading file for the whole day. met up with jessica yingzi for pool at night. hahaha been a long time too. did some catching up as well. (:

it has really been a nice and productive week for me, not in the aspect of academically but well, in the personal life. hahaha looking forward to the next few dates with them again! (:
